§ 14-106. Enforcement.

(a)

The building official shall be charged with the responsibility of supervising and conducting all requirements of the gas code and this article, unless such responsibility is charged by the city to some other person or agency of the government.

(b)

It is the intent of this article to promulgate such rules, regulations and requirements as may be necessary to protect the life, limb, safety and property of all users and citizens. It is also the intent of this article to vest in the building official the discretion of varying such rules, regulations or requirements provided such discretion shall not violate the intent and purpose of this article.
